About Boyles Evergreen Tree Farm

Ralph and Karen Boyles purchased the farm from Leonard and Josephine Panella in 1989, and it became, Boyles Evergreen Tree Farm. Our farm is a family owned and operated Evergreen Tree Farm and licensed Nursery.

When we first opened for business, the fields were sparse with overgrown trees and the only building was a small outdoor shed with a wood burning stove in it and a peep hole to watch for customers, that we stayed in while selling trees. Because the previous owners had not replanted in some time, we had to bring in pre-cut evergreen trees that we had purchased elsewhere to sell from our lot.

For the first few years, our focus was replanting the farm so we could sell trees from the fields. We spent every Spring planting seedlings, clearing land, and trimming. We also replaced the once standing outdoor shed with a large pole barn.

Once the seedlings we had planted were mature enough to sell we no longer had to purchase trees and  have only sold trees that were grown on our farm from seedlings. Customers are offered a wide selection of evergreen trees to choose from in our fields and we provide sleds and saws for cutting and hauling.  Customers also have the option of digging their own tree from our fields.

Customers are welcome to get warm around our open fire and sip hot chocolate while watching the snow fall. We also sell holdiay wreaths and Pine Kissing Balls that can be purchased at the farm or ordered ahead of time and picked up at the farm during regular business hours.
